Stepping Stone Farm, on Mopus Bridge Rd. has been awarded another day of competition by the United States Equestrian Federation. The new show date is June 14th. The farm starts their outside performance classes on April 27th. All four riding arenas will be utilized for the horse shows. Stepping Stone Farm horse shows are recognized by the U.S.E.F, the New England Horseman’s Council, the Conn. Hunter and Jumper Association, Marshall Sterling, and the Fairfield Westchester Professional Horseman’s Association. The dates for the spring competitions are April 27th, May 10th and 26th, and June 7th, 14th, and 29th. Area residents are welcome to enjoy the day of equestrian events.
Stepping Stone Farm will be sponsoring the Children’s Hunter Pony Classic at the Connecticut Finals in August. Farm owner, Janie Weber, will be presenting the trophy to the winner of this very popular youth performance class.
