Arabella Vissar and her pony "I Spy" debuted in their first United Equestrian Federation "A" horse show at the Fairfield County Hunt Club June Benefit horse show. Showing in the Emerson Burr Ring, Arabella’s first division ride off was the Academy Short Stirrup Division. They were third and fourth over fences and took two thirds in the Equitation Flat classes. The pony and rider team then headed into the Academy Short Stirrup Hunter Division competition. Arabella was fifth in the first jumping class and was awarded the blue ribbon in the second Short Stirrup Hunter class. Arabella was trained throughout the morning by Janie Weber, and has been riding at Starbuck Equestrian in Ridgefield for one year. Weber, five time Professional Horseman’s Associations Trainer of the Year, said “Arabella showed tremendous confidence in her rides today and has a promising young riding career ahead of her.”

She is the daughter of Mathias and Michelle Vissar of 21 Cross Highway and attends Coleytown Elementary School as a fourth grader
