Stepping Stone Farm will host its annual Memorial Day Horse Show on Monday, May 25, at the Ridgefield horse show facility on Mopus Bridge Road. Lucy and Jeannie McKinney, the oldest daughters of state Rep. Stewart McKinney, will be the two United States Equestrian Federation approved judges. The horse show offers three competition arenas and is also rated with the New England Horsemen’s Council, the Connecticut Hunter Jumper Association, and the Marshall & Sterling Corp.

Stepping Stone Farm started this annual event in 1975 at the St. John’s Road equestrian center, and then moved to the larger show facility in Ridgefield in 1979. The show staff will be headed by farm owner and show manager Janie Weber, with the instructors from Starbuck Equestrian, home-based at the facility, actively working with the show students. The show starts at 8 a.m. and will run all day. Ridgefield residents are all welcome.
