Hannah Taylor and Lady Courtland

Hannah Taylor and her horse Lady Courtland won top honors at the Marshall and Sterling League National Finals, held in Saugerties, NY in September. Taylor qualified for the finals by winning numerous Children’s Hunter Horse classes on the east coast in 2015. The league took 52 horse and rider combinations to vie for the prestigious ribbons. Taylor was solidly fourth after a two day competition with her high score of 84. Lady Courtland is a Canadian sport horse and has only shown over fences for 6 months. Her sire Caberdino who was Canadian World Hunter Champion.

Hannah trains with the Starbuck Equestrian team in Ridgefield. Training her throughout the year was Amanda and Juliana Starbuck, Janie Starbuck Weber, Kathy Fogg, Rachel Knoche and Maddie Webb. Hannah is a freshman at the Wilton High School and is the daughter of Stephanie and John Taylor of New Canaan Road.
