Indoors has always been such a special time of the year for us. As juniors, my daughters Juliana and Amanda Starbuck were successful competitors but the year that stands out most in my mind was 2002. That year the National Horse show was held in Wellington, Florida, outside. Our horse, Rio Bronco, was Amateur/Owner Hunter Champion there and he was also Reserve Champion A/O Hunter at the Washington International Horse Show with Amanda in the irons. This was especially exciting as I had shown him in Wellington in the 3-4 Year-Old Hunters and he was Circuit Reserve Champion. Juliana started him in the 1st Year Greens and then I had Amanda show him in the Amateur Hunter division.

What a horse! He's now 22, enjoys his days here at the farm, goes cross country riding with me...and he can still be a bit of a devil!
